The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners have prioritized attracting domestic and international commercial air service to and from Treasure Coast International Airport. The staff at the airport have recently completed and are currently making preparations to accommodate commercial air service including capital improvements to the airport’s facilities, implementation of enhanced airport operations and identifying marketing support to promote a new commercial air service.

In the last several years, the region has experienced exponential growth in tourism, the local economy, in corporate expansion and relocation as well as its residential population. As the Treasure Coast community continues to grow, so must our airport. Launching commercial air service will continue to drive growth in our regional economies and create jobs, another priority for the County.

St. Lucie County is interested in learning more about interested commercial air service providers for passenger and/or cargo operations. With a U.S. Customs & Border Protection facility on-site, along with a designated Foreign Trade Zone 218, Treasure Coast International Airport is ripe and ready for commercial air service.
