St. Lucie County Hires Cameron Howard as Treasure Coast International Airport Manager

Cameron Howard, TCIA Airport ManagerThe St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners hired Cameron Howard as airport manager for Treasure Coast International Airport (KPR). Reporting to the County Administrator, Howard is the department manager responsible for overseeing and managing FPR.

“I am excited to help position Treasure Coast International Airport for its next chapter. The Board of County Commissioners and County Administration have a long-term vision to develop this airport into an economic engine for the County and I see this as a great opportunity to help attract aviation businesses, create jobs, and prepare the airport to attract commercial air service to St. Lucie County.”

Howard received a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) located in Melbourne, FL. While at FIT, Howard obtained his commercial pilot license with multi-engine and instrument ratings. Howard’s experience spans many segments of the aviation industry including private charter operations, fixed base operator businesses and airport management roles in both Kentucky and South Dakota. In his personal time, Howard enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
