The Treasure Coast International Airport and Business Park is scheduled to host a full-scale, multi-agency emergency management exercise on Tuesday, May 25 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Coordinated by St. Lucie County’s Public Safety Department, this event is the second-part of a two-phased training exercise that will feature emergency management vehicles, sirens and other public safety equipment on and around the regional airport. Residents and businesses could see personnel and vehicles from the St. Lucie County Fire District, Sheriff’s Office and others traveling on and around the airport during the exercise.
Located at 3000 Curtis King Blvd. in Fort Pierce, the Treasure Coast International Airport and Business Park houses a variety of businesses that employ more than 3,400 people, generating more than $509 million in economic impact to the region annually.
